🐟 Maple-Soy Glazed Air Fryer Salmon

Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on or off)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

🌟 For the Glaze (Sweet & Spicy Twist):

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium preferred)

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 tsp sriracha (or more for extra heat)

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Optional: 1/4 tsp ginger powder or 1 tsp freshly grated ginger

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Prep the Glaze

  • In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, mustard, sriracha, garlic powder, and ginger.

2. Season the Salmon

  • Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.

  • Rub lightly with olive oil and season with a little salt and pepper.

3. Marinate (Optional but Flavorful)

  • Brush glaze over the salmon.

  • Let sit for 10–15 minutes while the air fryer preheats.

4. Air Fry

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (204°C).

  • Place salmon fillets in the air fryer skin-side down (if skin-on).

  • Air fry at 400°F for 7–9 minutes, depending on thickness.

    • No flipping needed.

    • Salmon should be flaky with an internal temp of 125–130°F for medium.

5. Caramelize the Glaze (Optional)

  • In the last 2 minutes, brush on a little extra glaze and increase temp to 410°F to create a caramelized top.
